Baby, We’re Home offers services which fall under 2 main categories - Preparing for Home Classes, (before the baby arrives) and post natal support visits ( After the baby arrives).

You do not need a GP referral to book, just make contact. Consultations are within Melbourne’s Western and Northern suburbs (subject to availability, travel fee may be applied).

At Baby, We’re Home, we truly recognise that every family is different and as such, require solutions personalised to you. After booking an in-home service, you will be sent a questionnaire to establish what you are seeking.

  • Post Natal Preparation Classes, run by an experienced registered nurse, with 20 years experience.

    Who is this for?

    • Any parent who is seeking practical advice on life, once you have brought your baby home.

    What is covered?

    • The fourth trimester, what it means for the baby and parents.

    • Baby care: Bathing, feeding, nappy changes, swaddling, comforting and soothing .... and many, many other topics.

    • Normal newborn behaviours.

    • Sleep hygiene.

    • Surviving the nights.

    • Supporting the birth parent post delivery.

  • Tailored in‑home 60 minute visit offering hands‑on newborn care guidance, maternal recovery support, feeding assistance (breast, bottle, combination feeding), emotional reassurance, and practical problem‑solving. This service bridges the gap between hospital discharge and MCH services.

  • An individualised education session in your own home, covering the core content of the group workshop, but targeting topics and concerns you may have.
    Prior to the session, we will discuss what you are seeking, to make the most out of our class time.
