I’m a Registered Nurse and work to AHPRA standards, but Baby We’re Home focuses on education and support rather than diagnosis or treatment.
I help you understand what’s happening, make evidence‑informed decisions, and know when to seek medical care.
This service does not replace your GP, Midwife, Child Maternal Health Nurse, paediatrician or emergency department.
I will, however, with your consent, liaise with your health providers, if i believe there is a concern. This will be discussed with you at the time. -
No. Baby We’re Home is a self‑referral service – you can book directly through the website.
If your GP, midwife or another health professional has recommended you see me, you’re still welcome to book yourself in.
-
I’m based in Melbourne’s western suburbs. Telehealth consultations are available Australia‑wide. In‑home visits are offered locally, subject to availability and safety considerations.
-
No one can ethically guarantee that. Babies are individuals and many night‑wakings are developmentally normal.
My goal is to improve sleep, safety and your confidence using responsive, developmentally appropriate strategies that fit your family.
-
Yes, absolutely. We believe every family story is beautiful. The content is mindfully written and designed to welcome babies home across all family dynamics. This includes same-sex and LGBTQ+ parents, single parents, and families brought together through biological birth, adoption, or surrogacy.
-
Baby We’re Home focuses primarily on newborns and young infants in the first year of life, with a particular emphasis on the “fourth trimester” (the first 12 weeks after birth).
-
Yes, absolutely! My approach is feeding‑inclusive and non‑judgemental. We work with how you’re currently feeding your baby and what your goals are, whether that’s breastfeeding, formula, combination feeding or expressed breast milk.
Please note: I am not a lactation consultant or a midwife, and will not provide advice regarding breastfeeding that is outside of my scope.
I will be able to link you in with a variety of services, depending on your individual needs and choices.
I very much believe in the "‘Fed is Best” approach. -
Yes. As a neurodiverse parent myself, I’m mindful of sensory needs, executive function challenges and information overload - Including the overwhelm just from becoming a new parent!
I’m happy to adapt how we communicate and structure plans so they’re more accessible and sustainable for you, and your specific requirements.
-
Life with a baby is unpredictable. I understand that things come up. I do ask for as much notice as possible so your appointment time can be offered to another family.
Cancellation fees will apply if booking is cancelled less that 24 hours before appointment
